A Message from the President
It is my great privilege and pleasure to serve you as President of the THAICOSDERM for the year 2023. Thai Society of Cosmetic and Dermatologic Surgery or THAICOSDERM has long been a beacon for in-depth knowledge in Cosmetic and Dermatologic Surgery, and my humble mission is to endeavour to propel that powerful momentum into the brighter future.
It has been our Society’s tradition to organise both local and International Congress since founding this club in 1998, which grew to become a Society in 2003. I have witnessed such tremendous growth of this noble Society, nourished by the vision, determination, and dedication from the Committee as well as the unparalleled talents of Thai practitioners of all generations and from various specialisations, who provided warm and generous support.
To mark this milestone of over-two-decades of the Society’s remarkable success, along with ushering in the global return in the post-pandemic era, we The THAICOSDERM Committee Team are proud to bring the latest education with fascinating new topics to benefit our members and participants alike.
This year in 2023, with our active Scientific Committee, we plan to organise five local Seminars and one International Congress in collaboration with IMCAS.
We have commenced this year with the local seminar entitled “Science and Clinical Application of Regenerative Medicine in Cosmetic Dermatology” on February 15th, 2023. With 487 participants registered and the illustrious expert speakers sharing experience both theoretical and practical, the great success has generated accolades as well as setting the new benchmark for the events to follow throughout the remainder of the year.
The second event will be held on April 29th, 2023, and entitled “Multidisciplinary Approach to Botulinum Toxin for Face and Neck: A Practical Use”. I am trilled with the roster of distinguished speakers amongst whom are four experts each from leading companies who will showcase their latest top innovations, making this event a true highlight of the calendar year not to be missed.
Additionally in 2023, we have three upcoming local seminars:
1. “Skin Quality: Clinical Relevance and 360 Degree Approch” in July
2. “How to Manage Errors and Complications in Esthetic Medicine " in August
3. “Tread and Minimal Invasive Facial Lifting: Lecture, Live Show, and Cadaver” in September It is also my great pleasure to announce IMCAS Asia during June 9th-11th, 2023 at Plaza Athenee Hotel, Bangkok. We at THAICOSDERM have been collaborating with IMCAS Paris towards bringing the greatest International Congress to Thailand. This event will be on-site, one-stop forum for meeting and exchanging knowledge and innovation both in concept and practice, covering a wide spectrum of beauty and safety, tips and techniques, pitfalls and complications management including anatomy and cadaver highlight from distinguished panel of experts.
Additionally, booths exhibition with the latest technology will offer our members the great benefits all inclusive in the registration fee. THAICOSDERM Members will receive the special registration fee rate as the result of this landmark collaboration between THAICOSDERM and IMCAS. Further details can be obtained from the Society.
